 The Alpha machine wasn't mine. It belonged to a bloke in Melbourne who I was
 working for. I caught up with him and he's told me that the HDD in the alpha
 has died and it will be awhile before he replaces it. If he gets the alpha
 up and running again I will try again and see if it still fails. What
 options do I pass to configure in order to produce preprocessed sources?
