Synopsis: mn10200-elf fails to build on 3.0-CVS

State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback
State-Changed-By: bangerth
State-Changed-When: Tue Nov 19 18:04:07 2002
State-Changed-Why:
    This is a rather old bootstrap failure report, and gcc3.0
    is no longer supported. Can you please check whether you
    can build a newer version of gcc on your platform and let
    us know about your findings?

    Thanks
      W.

 FWIW, I just tried this and it didn't even get this far. The compiler blew
 up due to what appears to be a latent bug.

 Working around that I can reproduce the failure above.

 Working around that gets libgcc to build, but not newlib.

 Ugh.

Build fails with the following. This appears to be about the
same point as the failure reported as PR3592 and I don't think
that one can be closed yet either.
