I'm reopening this since jvgenmain doesn't yet have -ms/-mx options.
`gij' does -- perhaps that is what you were looking at?

Currently the only way to specify heap parameters to a Java
executable is to use the gij wrapper (which now works for
native as well as interpreted classes). Gcj and jvgenmain
really should support the same options as gij.
