 you miscategorized this bug report under ada which is probably one of  
 the reasons nobody's looked at it yet. Anyhow, can you check and see  
 whether this problem still occurs with gcc 3.2.3, or 3.3 prerelease?  
 There have been numerous reports of successful builds on i586-linux.  
 What commands did you use to build? Thanks,
