 with gcc 3.2.3, I get the crash you mention. With gcc 3.3 branch and  
 mainline, I do not. Note that removing -g makes your testcase compile  
 fine with 3.2.3. gcc 3.3, which should be out in the next few days,  
 will fix this bug.
