Since the recent Rust import, one test FAILs on both 32 and 64-bit
Solaris/SPARC
and x86:

+FAIL: rust/compile/torture/alt_patterns1.rs   -O2  (test for excess errors)
+FAIL: rust/compile/torture/alt_patterns1.rs   -O2 -flto  (test for excess
errors)
+FAIL: rust/compile/torture/alt_patterns1.rs   -O2 -flto -flto-partition=none 
(test for excess errors)
+FAIL: rust/compile/torture/alt_patterns1.rs   -Os  (test for excess errors)

Excess errors:

error: variable 'z' is bound inconsistently across pattern alternatives [E0409]
