egcs-980404: results on RHL 5.0/Intel with binutils-2.8.1.0.29 added

Before I begin, shoudn't the egcs-980404 snapshot be merged also with 
libstdc++-2.8.1*?

libstdc++-2.8.1* basically contains what's in egcs-1.0.2 and current
snapshots! We should only raise the .so version numbers.
