I'm trying to build egcs as a cross-compiler on a i686 linux system
with i586-cygwin32 as target.
I succeeded building the thing without obvious error. I completed
/usr/local/i586-cygwin32/lib with the libraries from cdk release
but when I try a very simple HELLO WORLD test program with
$prefix/gcc test.c -o test.exe
and that I bring the result under NT, I get the following error
message
.dll can't be found
Any idea?
Any information source on building such a cross-compiler?
Thanks in advance
Michel

[ problem report snipped ]
You need a newer snapshot of binutils in order to have a working i386-*
system (where * = cygwin32, mingw32, uwin, etc).
Mumit
P.S. Please don't ask me where to get binutils development snapshots.
