Hello,
Doug Evans, Yao Qi and myself are stepping down as GDB Global
Maintainers. This commit therefore moves our entries to the
"Past Maintainers" section.
I've also removed myself as Ada maintainer, as well as MIPS
authorized committer.
Speaking for myself, it's been a privilege for me to have been
trusted as one of the Global Maintainers of this project. I hope
that I'll find time some day to start hacking on GDB again.
Thank you,

Joel

Joel,
Will this also affect the release engineer role you currently fill for
GDB? You work there is both greatly appreciated and significant. It's
also true that each person's life has different seasons, and it's not
realistic (nor fair to the person) to expect any one person to be
around in the same role forever.

For now, I'm happy to stay on as Release Manager. But if anyone is
motivated by this position, I'd be happy to have a discussion with
them to discuss the needs of that role. If there is a good match
and the Global Maintainers agree, I'm also happy to pass the torch.
