Hi everyone,

Quick update on the release process: We still have one PR which is
marked as blocking for the release due to the fact that it's a
regression: PR gdb/30912.

Does anyone know if there's been activity on this since Simon posted
a description of the regression 3 weeks ago? John?

What I propose is that we give it another week, and see where we are.
Ideally, it's fixed by next weekend, or at least we have a better
understanding of how long it might take to fix it, so as to help us
decide whether to wait for this fix, or whether to shoot for 14.2
instead. Otherwise, if there is no movement on this PR by next weekend,
let's just release.

Fixed Since the Previous Update:

Added Since the Last Update:

Other Ongoing Items:
--------------------

 * [SimonM] PR gdb/30912
   Regression: make check TESTS="gdb.base/gcore.exp"
RUNTESTFLAGS="--target_board=native-extended-gdbserver"
   https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=30912

   Not sure if anyone is working on this PR yet. Asked on the PR itself.

Not Blocking, But Keep An Eye On:

Sorry, I had missed this PR somehow. I've commented on the PR and will try
to come up with a workaround for the release in the next day or two.

Thanks Tom. I looked at the patch
(https://sourceware.org/pipermail/gdb-patches/2023-November/204256.html),
and it looks OK for a backport to 14.1 to me (can only affect DAP anyway).
