[PATCH 0/2] Fix GDB prompt corruption issue

This series fixes PR cli/28833.  The first commit is a patch to
readline, which is based on an existing, upstream, readline commit.
See my commit message for more details.

The second patch fixes GDB to make use of the new reaadline features
in order to fix the prompt corruption issue.
