Bug ID: 16222
Summary: add "artificial" flag to ptype
Product: gdb
Version: HEAD
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: cli
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: tromey at redhat dot com
It would be nice to have an "artificial" flag to
ptype to control whether compiler-supplied fields
and methods are printed.

--- Comment #1 from Tom Tromey <tromey at sourceware dot org> ---
gdb sort of has this specifically for vtables.
For "ptype/o" it would also be good to default to showing
artificial members, including vtables, because there the goal
is to see the layout of the object.
