I tried a multi-inferior debugging session today.
"info inferior" printed its results in reverse order:

(gdb) info inferior
  Num  Description       Executable        
* 2    process 12585    
/home/tromey/firefox-git/gecko-dev/obj-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/dist/bin/firefox 
  1    process 12575    
/home/tromey/firefox-git/gecko-dev/obj-x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu/dist/bin/firefox 


I think it should be sorted by increasing Nums.

FWIW, the order here was modelled on "info threads"'s order.

I (quickly) audited the "info" sub commands, and GDB is inconsistent on this
issue in several places.  E.g.,

increasing:

(gdb) info breakpoints
