Bug ID: 18658
Summary: break command should have an "inferior" modifier
Product: gdb
Version: 7.9
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: breakpoints
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: pkoning at equallogic dot com
Target Milestone: ---
Flags: security-
"break" takes a "thread" modifier, but it doesn't seem to have an "inferior"
modifier. This would be particularly useful when debugging inferiors that have
different executables; it's a bit baffling to say "break foo" and have it set
breakpoints in two unrelated places that happen to have used the same function
name.
