gdb.ada/char_enum_unicode.exp has:

set thorn "'\\\[\"de\"\\\]'"
...
gdb_test "print Char_Enum_Type'('\[\"de\"\]')" " = 4 $thorn"

... but this character is printable, so it could be
displayed here, rather than resorting to an escape.
