I tried this and I think the file is just corrupt.
readelf: ./platform_walnut.elf: Warning: Debug info is corrupted, abbrev offset
(1ba37) is larger than abbrev section size (106f)
readelf: ./platform_walnut.elf: Warning: DIE at offset 0xb refers to
abbreviation number 1 which does not exist
Also, this bug is very old.
So, I'm closing this.
