I figured it might be worth replying to this just in case
someone stumbles across it someday. I realize it's long obsolete.

Yes, I think these are provided on an as-is basis.
As far as I know, nobody maintains them; I don't recall
ever seeing a patch to fix them.

There are various other stubs out there.
One that should have caught on a bit more is RDA:

Or one can contribute patches for the existing ones, that's also fine.
