GDB -ggdb crashes program in windows gdb debugger.

GDB -ggdb crashes program in windows gdb debugger.

hi guyz..
when i compile a program using -ggdb for generating
extra 
debugging information it compiles normally..
but after invoking gdb with that compiled file it
says.
"fatal internal error occured"
and it terminates making a core dump file.
i am using windows version of gcc suite from devX
software..
plz help me..

We would like to help out but:
 we need more info like :

a. the version of the compiler used. 
b. the target architecture. 
c. the version of gdb that crashes . 

A small test program that crashes GDB would be very useful.
