FYI:
All blocking items before 7.2 branching have now been resolved, and
I am planning on creating the branch tomorrow, immediately followed
by the creation of the first pre-release.
The actual release is planned for 2 to 4 weeks after branching,
assuming we do not find any serious problem with the pre-release.
