Hello !
we are working on Motorola 68376 microcontrollers and want to build a debugger. The hardware part is based on schematics and linux driver found on the web. If everything goes well, we would like to use gdb as debugger. The problem I have is that we are today using Diab D-CC compiler which produce S-Record Out-files and I don' t know if gdb supports this compiler for source-line debugging. How can Diab D-CC produce the debugging information like GCC -g does ? Or is this debugging information not absolutely needed for source line debugging ?
Thanks for any info
