ok, bugzilla is acting REALLY REALLY strange. I just submitted an update to
THIS bug when i was trying to submit it to my own and i was viewing my own when
i edited the update! whiskey tango... sorry for the confusion/

There is a configuration option that whenever you update a bug, Bugzilla moves
to the next bug from your list of search results. I think Sourceware Bugzilla
enables this by default. I expect this is what led you to update the wrong bug.
