            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: libc

Proposed patch

The macros for aligned or unaligned access in iconv/loop.c are hard to
understand. In particular, one of the glibc maintainers misunderstood the code.

Find attached a proposed patch for simplification.

Status: untested so far. Please tell me if you want to test it, or I should.
