            Bug ID: 29190
Summary: Symbols with version hash zero lead to crashes, not
                    matched correctly
           Product: glibc
           Version: unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: dynamic-link
Assignee: unassigned at sourceware dot org
Reporter: fweimer at redhat dot com
  Target Milestone: ---

Symbol lookup runs into a null pointer dereference if the symbol version has
hash value zero. If that is fixed, defined symbols with symbol version hash
zero match any symbol version during relocation processing.
