glibc 2.37, x86_64, Linux, with _XOPEN_SOURCE=600 and 700: HOST_NAME_MAX is
reported 64 both by limits.h and sysconf(). POSIX ed. 2004 and 2018 require
_POSIX_HOST_NAME_MAX = 255 at the minimum.
