I've compiled gsl-0.7 with egcs-1.1.2 (gcc) on

# uname -a
SunOS Octopussy 5.7 Generic_106541-11 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise

make check gave errors in monte only:

FAIL: miser(f1), dim=9, err=0.5979 (1.57362866853451511 observed vs 1
expected)
FAIL: miser_test
FAIL: plain(f2), calls=1000000, dim=9, err=5.2048 (1.54623676083028783
observed vs 1 expected)
FAIL: plain_test

What can I do?
(fortunately, monte carlo simulation is not important to me now...)

These are known problems, so avoid using the monte routines for now --
I am working on a new version of monte/ for the next release.
