I tried to build the rpm package from the tarball using
the "rpm -tb ..." command. It complains about not finding
the gsl-0.9.1.tar.gz. Editing the gsl.spec file and changing
the version number from 9.1 to 9.2 (or the release number I don't
remenber exactly) solve this little problem.

Thanks. I've made the file autogenerated by the configure script so
the version number will stay up to date.
