nostalgia - 10 years since start of GSL

A while back Jerry reminded me that it is almost 10 years since the
start of GSL.  Below is the first recorded changelog entry from Mark.

It has really been something great for so many people. Personally I have taken much from it, learnt from it at different levels, and especially had a lot of fun with it! Also I had the joy of seeing first-hand many people in different fields for which it made a difference.
