Hi,
I ran the configure script on Msys and it went through
fine. How when I ran make it gave me a couple of
errors regarding unreferenced variables.
Can anyone guide me on this issue

You haven't really given us any information other than the build is
broken. Where did you get the sources? Please post a log of the failure.

It's a cygwin fork specifically modified for the MinGW environment.
