Thanks for your reply, however, what else despite of the correct
PATH variable can be done to ensure that the `correct' versions of
tcl/tk/... are taken?
Here is my PATH:
.:/usr/users/bauer/bin:/usr/users/bauer/opt/insight-5.0/bin:/usr/local/bin
In /usr/local/bin the other tcl/tk installation is located.
Here is the content of my $HOME/opt/insight-5.0/bin dir:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 bauer users 32768 Aug 8 09:40 tclsh
-rwxr-xr-x 1 bauer users 720896 Aug 8 09:40 itclsh3.0
-rwxr-xr-x 1 bauer users 1081344 Aug 8 09:40 itkwish3.0
-rwxr-xr-x 1 bauer users 65536 Aug 8 09:41 wish
-rwxr-xr-x 1 bauer users 2121 Aug 8 09:43 tixindex
-rw-r--r-- 1 bauer users 3981312 Aug 8 09:43 tixwish4.1.8.0
-rwxr-xr-x 1 bauer users 20357120 Aug 8 09:44 gdb
And here the content of the appropriate ../lib dir:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 bauer users 621 Aug 8 09:40 libbfd.la
-rw-r--r-- 1 bauer users 2172010 Aug 8 09:40 libbfd.a
-rwxr-xr-x 1 bauer users 633 Aug 8 09:40 libopcodes.la
-rw-r--r-- 1 bauer users 188256 Aug 8 09:40 libopcodes.a
-rw-r--r-- 1 bauer users 5321 Aug 8 09:40 tclConfig.sh
-r-xr-xr-x 1 bauer users 4201740 Aug 8 09:40 libtcl8.0.a

-rw-r--r-- 1 bauer users 1678 Aug 8 09:40 itkConfig.sh
-rw-rw-r-- 1 bauer users 58408 Aug 8 09:41 libmmalloc.a
-rw-rw-r-- 1 bauer users 519418 Aug 8 09:41 libiberty.a
-r-xr-xr-x 1 bauer users 9245520 Aug 8 09:41 libtk8.0.a
-rw-r--r-- 1 bauer users 2726 Aug 8 09:41 tkConfig.sh
-rw-r--r-- 1 bauer users 5028564 Aug 8 09:43 libtixsam4.1.8.0.a
-rw-r--r-- 1 bauer users 4321476 Aug 8 09:43 libtix4.1.8.0.a
As far as I see, everything seems to be there ...
Any further ideas?
