Hi All,

can someone tell me the tcl/tk requirements for insight?

I am running SuSe 6.2 with tcl8.0 & tk8.0. When I try to run gdb I get
the following message:

Itcl_Init failed: called "tcl_findLibrary" with too many arguments


I was running GNUPro v1.0 and had problems with a clash of tcl/tk
requirements. If I set myself up with a
standard tcl/tk 8.0 to run the scilab package then the interface with
gdb stopped working (the interface came up
but would not respond to buttons or mouse). If I went to an old setup
I couldn't run scilab.

So I got the upgrade to v2.0 but still can't run it.

You might try building insight from the source snapshot and
installing into a directory where only insight will live.
That way you would be able to avoid clashing with other
Tcl/Tk stuff on your system. The source snapshot comes
with the Tcl/Tk and Incr Tcl needed to run insight.
