[Bug java/24736] New: Gcjh method inlining violates weak semantics of mingw linker

This entry is being opened as a result of discussion on the mailing list.  It
was discovered in 4.1.0 mainline.  The root cause has existed for a very long
time but the change that exposed it was commited in February 2005.

This problem is almost certainly existant on cygwin builds, but this has not
been verified.

Patch to correct the problem for non ELF targets

This patch has been applied to mainline and will be applied to the 4.0 branch.
