At least on Solaris 10 and 11, both SPARC and x86, the 64-bit TestLeak.exe test
consumes all available memory, possibly bringing the machine to a complete
halt.
The problem seems to be far more severe if gcc is built to use GNU ld instead
of Sun ld.
