Bug ID: 26871
Summary: abidw exits with error when processing libmcpp.so
Product: libabigail
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: default
Assignee: dodji at redhat dot com
Reporter: woodard at redhat dot com
CC: libabigail at sourceware dot org
Target Milestone: ---
This is with the latest libabigail as of trunk commit
2cc1ab7ee879da20688c4a72ec93c73123d7b9aa:
$ abidw /lib64/libmcpp.so.0.3.0
$ echo $?
1
It doesn't even generate any xml output at all. It just exits with an error.
This is from libmcpp-2.7.2-26.fc33.x86_64
Ulitmately I would like to do:
abidw --abidiff /lib64/libmcpp.so.0.3.0
but abidw is exiting in the first stage.

--- Comment #2 from dodji at redhat dot com ---
This seems to be fixed for me with the tip of the master branch which currently
is:
64c8338 reader: Fix off-by-one error in assert.
Thanks for reporting this problem!
