Bug ID: 27165
Summary: abidiff fails with error: Assertion `__abg_cond__'
failed.
Product: libabigail
Version: unspecified
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2

Target Milestone: ---
Hi,
I have an issue with abidiff (tested with version 1.6.0 and 1.7.2).
It fails with the following error:
abidiff: ../../src/abg-dwarf-reader.cc:13077: void
abigail::dwarf_reader::finish_member_function_reading(Dwarf_Die*, const
function_decl_sptr&, const class_or_union_sptr&,
abigail::dwarf_reader::read_context&): Assertion `__abg_cond__' failed.
Aborted
How to reproduce the issue:
# Get reproducer.tar.gz from the attachment
tar -xzvf reproducer.tar.gz
abidiff --no-unreferenced-symbols --headers-dir1 old/include/ --headers-dir2
new/include/ old/lib/libzmq.so new/lib/libzmq.so
Let me know if you need more information.
Cheers
Thomas
