Hi!
Why has been '&& defined HAVE_TLS_SUPPORT'
added to set_thread_area init stuff?
I don't think it has to do anything with TLS support, you want
set_thread_area whenever it is available.
Furthermore, FREE_THREAD is not keyed from HAVE_TLS_SUPPORT,
so you might end up e.g. not freeing LDT at thread end.
