Hi,

Recently on May 22 2024, Glibc version got updated to 2.28-251.el8_10.1.x86_64 to address security issue. Currently for libnsl we just have 2.28-251.el8.x86_64. When will the libnsl 2.28-251.el8_10.1.x86_64 rpm be available ?

https://pkgs.org/download/libnsl

Thanks,
Sumanth

This list is for libc development and related topics, while this specific question is related to a specific distro. You may want to reach the distro maintainers or related channels.

Hi,

Can you help us with specific distro maintainers channel details?

I already posted on https://forums.centos.org/ regarding this under CentOS 8 Stream.

Thanks

glibc-2.28-251.el8_10.1 has never been built for CentOS Stream:

<https://kojihub.stream.centos.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=401>

You will have to ask the party that provided you with the glibc package
build without the corresponding libnsl package build to figure out what
is going on.

Thanks,
Florian
