I will be writing some unit tests of my own using junit 3.7. I would like to
contribute to the mauve project if possible and I am wondering how this might
be possible given that our test containers are different.

Great! What classes/packages were you thinking of to write tests for?
But why not just use the mauve framework? It is very simple.

I quickly looked at the API at
http://junit.sourceforge.net/javadoc/junit/framework/package-summary.html
Is that the version of the framework that you want to use?
It might be possible to implement that in terms of the mauve test
framework, but I would suggest first trying to write your tests as
normal Mauve tests.

Cheers,

Mark
