Verified this from two separate ISPs. Other ports respond ok. Anyone know

I'm trying to fix this now. Either the root password has changed or my
records are wrong.

I rebooted the system. It took a while to come back up (which possibly
required mgalgoci's intervention <if so, thanks, matt>) but it seems to
be ok now.
