Does anyone know how to clear this:

cvs server: [05:18:15] waiting for anoncvs's lock in /cvs/src/src/winsup/utils

Yes, you log in to sourceware (that is, the project leader or someone
else with shell access needs to do this), "ls -l
/cvs/src/src/winsup/utils" and (assuming the CVS process in question
is really gone, check with "ps") blow away the lock files.

I'm a little surprised this is happening, though, it used to happen a
lot due to CVS bugs but I hadn't heard much about that recently (CVS
does try to clean up from obvious causes).

As usual, I figured this out after sending the email.  :-)

"Figuring out" is a relative term meaning that I already knew the answer
but it took hitting "y" in my mailer to remember it.
