Hi,

would it be possible for me to get shell access so that I can update
the libstdc++ documentation on gcc.gnu.org?

My main requirement is to be able to run
/home/gccadmin/scripts/update_web_docs_libstdcxx_svn but I would also
like to be able to update the collections of doxygen pages linked to
from http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/libstdc++/api.html - currently this
is done periodically by Benjamin.

My gcc user is 'redi'

Thanks,

Jonathan

Shouldn't these be under CVS control like many of the other web pages?

Benjamin and Gerald have discussed moving towards something along
those lines. Most of the docs are generated from source files in the
svn repo, so they're more like the docs under
http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs, which are not in CVS and are (I
believe) updated when a release is made. Ideally the libstdc++ docs
could also be regenerated from the sources and updated with each
release, but we're not there yet, so I would like to help Benjamin
maintain them under the current model.

Yep, we are transitioning them. But until this is finished, Jonathan
needs to be able to update, so needs access.

best,
benjamin
