Hello,
ssh -v jkratoch@sourceware.org
Sun Nov 21 06:44:56 CET 2010 debug1: Connection established.
hanging
some small communication happened at:
Sun Nov 21 06:47:10 CET 2010 debug1: SSH2_MSG_KEXINIT received
hanging
Sun Nov 21 06:49:11 CET 2010 Connection closed by 209.132.180.131
Breaking my regression tests:
++ cvs update -A
Connection closed by 209.132.180.131
cvs [update aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)
tcpdump does not seem to indicate network problems and neither ping:
ping -q -i 0.05 -c 1000 -n sourceware.org
1000 packets transmitted, 1000 received, 0% packet loss, time 52329ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 401.576/404.621/534.538/7.072 ms, pipe 10
For some operations I do not use GIT as it is not per-minute up to date.
As the server performance is a repeating problem is there anything that can be
done for it? I believe the hardware is cheap enough. All the SSH/CVS/SVN/GIT
should run fine from many-GB RAM disk cache on many-core SMP box even without
any cluster.
Thanks,
Jan
