Richard,

Last week in searching for information about GNU Binutils, I sent an email with a legal disclaimer to this distribution list: binutils@sourceware.org.  I did not originally know the email would be distributed to a list.  Now the email is published to the web here: http://sourceware.org/ml/binutils/2010-06/msg00160.html 

If possible, I would like to have the thread deleted from the archives so as not to violate the legal disclaimer's policy of publishing/disseminating.  Could you delete the message, or be able to direct me to the appropriate person for this matter?

Unfortunately, that outcome is unreachable, as the mailing list is
widely mirrored, so your disclaimer has already "flown the coop".  But
as people don't usually take disclaimers seriously enough to follow
instructions therein, perhaps it's best to just forget about it.

Frank's point is that it is already archived at sites over which we have
no control.
