Help needed with creating a bugzilla account

Hi,

I hope you can help me with the following.

My name is Ruud van der Pas and I work in the Oracle Linux Engineering
organization.

I’m deeply involved with the gprofng binutils project and would like
to request an account so that I can submit bugs, but also help out
with gprofng bugs others might submit.

When I try to set up a new account, I get this message when I enter
my email address:

User account creation has been restricted.
Contact your administrator or the maintainer (overseers@sourceware.org) for information about creating an account.

Can you perhaps help out setting this up?

Yes, sorry. Too many spammers signed up. So we now add people manually.

A bugzilla account has been created for you. You should have gotten an
email about it. You can activate your account through the Forgot/Reset
Password link.

No problem at all. That makes a lot of sense, but I’m sorry to hear this
creates more work on your side.
