Hello!

The user abebeos@lazaridis.com repeatedly tries to make claims to the Bountysource
campaign for converting the AVR backend to MODE_CC [1]. Since he did not contribute
any of the code that got eventually committed - the work was done by Senthil Kumar -
he has no right to claim any of the money of the bounty for the Bountysource campaign.

Even though people already told him that he has no claim in this campaign, he still
tries to assert that he deserves to get some of the money in that campaign.

Could you either lock the bug report 92729 [1] or ban the user abebeos@lazaridis.com
altogether? I usually do not endorse such bans, but this guy is starting to become
really annoying by spamming the mailing list and/or bugzilla.

Thanks,
Adrian

I see a handful of messages over the last few days, and you are a
party to the conversation. Sorry, this does not seem to constitute
evidence that there is a consensus of a serious enough problem.

Please try to resolve the issue outside bugzilla.

The person is now attacking me personally on the bugtracker:

Would it be possible to take some action now? I it would be great if his off-topic,
defamatory comments could be deleted from this bug report. None of the claims this person
is making are valid and it's not okay that a bug tracker is used to attack me personally.

Thanks,
Adrian

I tagged the comment as "spam" (and as "abuse" and as "admin" but we do
not seem to implement those) so at least it is hidden by default now.

Thanks. That already helps a lot. Maybe flag the ones 54 through 60 as well
as they are all just spam and off-topic (you can include mine as well).

I hope the guy stops spamming the bug tracker now seeing that these comments
don't really achieve anything.

Thanks for your help!

Adrian

Please take this dispute off the mailing lists and off
bugzilla. No one comes off looking good here.

I have not been disputing anything. I have remained quiet after my last message
to the bug report on May, 1st when I also asked you to lock the bug report
and ban this user.

I don't know this guy and I'm not arguing with him, he is just spamming the mailing
lists and Bugzilla and I assume he will continue to do so unless his account gets
banned.
