Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this message
... but maybe someone can help me.
I don't know what to do ...
These are the steps I've taken:
I downloaded the rhdb21-i386.iso , check5sum, made the CD-ROM,
tried to install from the CD-ROM, got error. Then, tried mounting the
iso directly in a llop device I called /dbdev,ran install again , this
time in text format to be able to show the error, got the same error:
# /dbdev/Install -text

Hi Hector,
You are seeing that error because your machine do not have the appropriate
key
installed to verify the signature. There is a file called RPM-GPG-KEY in
the
top directory of the iso which is the key. You can import it by:
rpm --import <directory_with_key>/RPM-GPG-KEY
And that will let you install the packages properly.
For more info on package signature, please check out:
http://www.redhat.com/docs/manuals/linux/RHL-8.0-Manual/custom-guide/s1-check-rpm-sig.html
Thanks for choosing RHDB.
Cheers,
Permaine
