Roland advises that the kernel pt_regs probably do match up fine with
regset contents for gpr0..31, so my test results simply confirm that
there are no regressions.  It's probably a good idea to switch to 
the regset API anyway, applying the attached patch, but removing lut
entries for regno >= 32.

incomplete implementation draft

This should work but doesn't seem to make any difference on
test results on my early tests.
