Bug #: 14710
Summary: Support stapdyn for client-server compilation
Product: systemtap
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: dyninst
AssignedTo: systemtap@sourceware.org
ReportedBy: jistone@redhat.com
Classification: Unclassified
We should support compiling stapdyn modules over the client-server path. This
will be helpful for the usual compilation environment and debuginfo reasons; we
don't really need the module-signing aspect. I haven't scoped out what work is
needed here, but possibly just making sure a module.so can get sent across
instead of the old expected module.ko.
