             Bug #: 15029
Summary: stapdyn needs better exit values
           Product: systemtap
           Version: unspecified
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: dyninst
        AssignedTo: systemtap@sourceware.org
        ReportedBy: dsmith@redhat.com
        Depends on: 14491
    Classification: Unclassified

Commit 29e48ce adds dyninst support to the systemtap.base/beginenderror.exp
testcase. This testcase fails for dyninst, because stapdyn doesn't exit with a
non-zero exit code if the script has errors. stapdyn only exits with a 1 if the
target command exits abnormally.

Staprun knows the script had errors because the transport layer get notified of
them. Stapdyn doesn't have a transport layer yet (bug #14491).
