Bug ID: 17255
Summary: need a way to give perf.*.counter probes a non-default
.sample(NNN) parameter
Product: systemtap
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: translator
Assignee: systemtap at sourceware dot org
Reporter: fche at redhat dot com
For e.g. the perf.stp sample, it'd be desirable to let a script
use an other-than-default .sample(NNN) parameter for their
perf...counter() probes. bug #12200 permits them to some extent,
but not enough for
probe perf.hw.cache_references.sample(1000)
.process("/usrbin/find").counter("find_cache_refs")
{}
