Bug ID: 25168
Summary: replace probe_read, probe_read_str
Product: systemtap
Version: unspecified
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: bpf
Assignee: systemtap at sourceware dot org
Reporter: me at serhei dot io
Target Milestone: ---
After consulting with fche, I'm adding tapset functions that use BPF's
probe_read helpers to read user memory, on x86_64 only. But these helpers will
soon be deprecated in favour of properly separate
probe_read_kernel/probe_read_user. Use them as soon as they come out.
